Noodle Kingdom: the next generation.
Traditional Gansu cuisine of north-west China, made just for Melbourne.

Story

There comes a time in every family when there is a passing of the guard from one generation to the next.

That time is now for Swanston St. staple Noodle Kingdom and the Sze family, as daughter Tiffy formally takes the reins from father Sze Kwok Wai.
Referencing her Chinese heritage and the father for who the new restaurant is named, Mr Kwok maintains all that was loved about the former Noodle Kingdom (including the famous Brisket noodle soup) with the introduction of the quirks and tastes of the Melbourne city that has shaped her.

Referencing family recipes and Gansu Cuisine from the inland North Western region of China alongside fresh influences from Melbourne, Mr Kwok will offer handmade dumplings and noodles pulled to order till 3.30am weekdays and 5am weekends.

Very good value. I had the beef brisket noodle soup for $12.80 and I couldn't finish it all even if I wanted to. The quality of the noodles was also very good, they looked and tasted fresh. This is my go to for noodle soups in CBD
Food was good value for money, environment is quite funky, so overall a good place to eat!
Came in at 2:30am and they still had their full menu and got a Pirate Life IPA for $10 pretty good. Had Shanghai pork dumpling and the soup the guy told was most popular the Lanzhou. Both excellent will be back to try more
We ordered way too much food but it was all good. Dumplings were light and delicious, chicken ribs were crispy and tasty, beef cheeks were soft and tender. Recommend the lychee cocktail for a refreshing drink if you are getting too full!
Very friendly and attentive staff. Food is well presented. Good serves. The braised hock, duck, mushrooms with taufoo are some of the dishes worth a try. I'd recommend this venue.
The beef soup was giant! Not the best one I had but pretty much only because of the noodles that weren't so great, otherwise beef tasted very lovely and overall very good experience:
