Most of the order was overcooked/inedible scallop on right in photo, there was a large bone in the mini flake on left, everything tasted of burnt/old oil, and gastro hit a few hours after eating what little was edible. Not to mention the 50c surcharge for an order over $20. Will never, ever buy from there again.
The worst fish and chips we have ever had! They were burnt and the potato cakes had no potato in them. I just don’t understand how anyone can charge for this and box this up. Extremely disappointed to have spent money on this.

Best fish and chips we have had in the area in a couple of years! Thankyou ! Fresh moist fish beautifully cooked and tasty crunchy chips...and not oily at all ! Friendly too. We will be back.
Worst fish n chips I’ve had in a long time
Mr. Chips is absolutely my go-to shop for fish, chips and all the in-betweens, as it has for years. The pricing is quite reasonable across the usual grabs - burgers, chips, fish, potato cakes, dim sims, souvlakis, etc. - and you can easily feed a family a dinner under $50. The quality is great, not the most consistent in terms of crunchiness, but they'll always satisfy, even on a bad day. The store owners are really friendly, eager to please, and create a welcoming atmosphere. The service as a whole is fairly up to scratch. Often busy on a Friday night around 6pm, but don't expect horrific queues. However. outside of the major evening rush it's a pretty calm shop.
Had been here several times before over the years. This time site had changed hands unknown when things weren't the same. Product not sufficiently cooked, operator friendly, will give it another go.
