The food at Mt Sheridan Tavern is delicious and is great value for money. We regularly order in and takeaway and are always impressed. The staff are wonderful and we appreciate how much they look after us. Highly recommended for both casual dining and catering for work orders.
We dined here on a Sunday night as they have a roast night. When we arrived we all decided to have something else on the menu. My full rack of pork ribs was beautiful, tender and finger picking good and the bruchetta was worth the money, but there were a few not happy. The steak Sandwich, was tough. The rissoles were dried out.We were last to get our entree, then when we did our main meal came out straight away. There was not keg beer as they had run out and there was only limited bottle beer to choose from. The staff were friendly and kept saying sorry for different things and did their best. There is pokies, keno and a sports bar with pool tables. You can order food in front bar and it is a little cheaper than restaurant. As there was a group of of us, we booked. The decor was a big oldish and a bit brown.nIf you like my reviews please follow us around Australia .
It's a clean and relatively basic tavern with friendly and efficient servicennThe pizza and pasta was fine, decent enough and fair valuennThe Caesar salad was nice except for the croutons which were totally inedible. Hard as rubbernnI suppose they were already cooked and then a heavy-handed chef had given them an unnecessary over-dose of radiation in the microwave. Not good cheffing skills really, and should have been sampled before release.
Amazing meal . Atherton parmy wow so good. Loved it best around and only $24.
Booked at last minute birthday dinner on a Sunday night for 10 people. Was nice and quiet. We arrived and the table had been decorated with some balloons and a sign and nice table dressing which was a lovely surprise. Staff went above and beyond. Super friendly, happily lit and plated up the cake I bought from outside and gave us plates spoons a knife etc. It seemed nothing was too much trouble. Food was delicious with generous portion sizes.
