There is a bullying problem and instead of punishing the bully they keep the bullied student inside during their lunch break. Staff have done nothing when feedback has been given, very disappointing. The school is also incredibly dirty and grimy. Disgusting! There seriously needs to be something done about this school because it's truly awful.
Rating it a 2 star reason is that yesterday one of the Team leader took my football soccer and said to get it at the end of the day and it made me so mad so this is to only one of the team leader because most of them are nice expect one so this is to you , I dont care what you say so don't tell me I said so give me at least a reason why you took the ball and btw it was confiscated for absolutely no reason so unless you be nice and give a reason I would have just walked away and said ok.
The school is very good. First of all the fees is very cheap and affordable. Secondly, they have so much materials and facilities to help a student grow academically as well as physically. They have so many computer labs, the library is full of books of many different genres which can keep a reader reading for years. The teachers also try their best to keep students in check and try to extend their learning. The only problem is the amount of students who try to start fights or scream insults like children who have learnt the art of swearing. Other than that the school has lots of potential to becoming a great place.
I love this school, been at Mount Ridley College for 5 years. the teachers care a lot about the students even when they are really hard to control. Its really fun to interact with other kids at this school and learn from others. There is berkshire with wellbeing teachers who help your children, teachers are very effective and this school sets such ground rules that implants so much goodness to this school. I love it
Very bad school, it's too big. In the summer we don't have a place to hide from the heat and the sun and in the winter we don't have a place to go inside and warm up from the rain or from the cold weather. There is only one place when we go in. They kick us out in the rain and say this class is only for class 12 and We what?? Are we animals? Not all teachers are good and the bad are more than the good. There was a particular lesson. The teacher gave me my mark as a sign of someone who did nothing from the lesson and I did everything and I asked her why she said I had COVID-19 and gave the marks according to her mood What is this silly justification . Just don't come in this school or you will heat yourself. That's my opinion. And by the way, it doesn't even deserve a star
I use to go to Mount Ridley College and acted like I hated it but once I moved and my best friend too, we both started began to realise how good the school is and yes there is imperfections that still needs fixing because what do you expect from a school from prep to year 12 with a lot of students to handle? anyways, overall the people there are the best people to share your experiences and memories with, the teachers try their best to teach students hard and well plus get to know them and families. The school has a lot of opportunities for your child if you are ever bringing them to the school and just in general i can not explain or express the words about how amazing MRC has been towards my friends, classmates, teachers and myself. they are a welcoming community who deserves the world !!
Probably one of the worst schools in Melbourne, do not recommend taking your child here.
You know when you watch National Geographic and you watch two turtles try to fight but they both flail around and never actually throw a punch or anything? That's pretty much every second day at this school - fights that are on par with yelling insults you read online in grade one. Don't send your kids here if you want them to make friends out in the yard, because the bathrooms are full of kids that vape or eat chips while simultaneously not knowing how to use a toilet correctly. Tip for those students - aim IN the bowl, not AT the bowl.
Worst school ever need some help in this school and the teachers need help with their students
My 3 children attend this school. Communication with staff is excellent. You can raise your concerns they will act on it. Staff and teachers are always in contact via phone or emails update me with my children progress or what they need to improve or achieve. School friendly and caring.
