Hi my name is Diego and I used to get bullied a lot and no one cared I even got bullied by my own friends and the teachers did nothing about it but the new principal is so nice I would not get in trouble that much anymore but I wanted to say thank you to all my very close friends and best friends for helping me when ever I get bullied but this year I’m starting high school and I already have a lot of friends so I wanted to say thank you to everyone that was been very nice too me. have not had good experience. Staff whether teachers/admin look under so much pressure not welcoming/happy. being bullied by students of higher class which no one takes responsibility. Big question is why students of prep, 1st and 2nd year all together with one teacher as the mental level of students are different which makes there learning more difficult. Year 1 students should be in separate class from prep and year 2. can feel the pressure of my son while in this school which effects his behaviour as well. They force students to be disciplined and quiet in class. Changed the school and my son is happy and doing very well. This school has not met my expectations.
This school has a no fun policy. Their NAPLAN scores are also below average. Walking in, there is no artwork on the walls, they sit on the dirty carpet to learn and eat instead of tables and chairs. Parents are continually complaining yet still keep their children here. My son cried every day before school and we thought he was just being difficult but realised he was sinking into depression. We pulled him out and he started at another school and now bounces out of bed every day so happy to go to school. Best decision we ever made.
School is good for what it is, went for all my primary school years, but, even though i can tell that the school tries to enforce anti-bullying, I still got majorly bullied from year 3-6 to point of having suicidal thoughts, i get this is to no fault of the school, but it wasnt a fun experience. the carpets could have been cleaner, I was often getting sick from being on the dirty carpet and having to work on it. The teachers are nice and friendly and are very good at working with kids. It was good academicly but i was working at a year 6 level in math at year 3 and had trouble passing that level in year 7, which wasnt good, and especially because i got into the advanced program at my high school. I'm excited for hopefully going back for work experience in year 10.
my auntie has had the most horrible experience in such little time being at the school! Her son was constantly picked on by the teachers and the principal! They won't teach your child anything they will only compare your child to other students which in my opinion is disgusting every child learns differently! I do not recommend this school at all! This school is worth 0 stars not 1!!!!!!
