Reviews

We stayed two nights at Mount loft house and it was magical. The house tour was exceptional. The food was world class. We enjoyed the degustation menu throughly. Every detail was perfect, the honesty bar and the sitting rooms were comfort plus! The spa was also excellent. Highly recommend this location and venue. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience, it was a magical start to our holidays.

We had a mid week girls break at this fantastic kid free retreat. The team were above and beyond lovely. Had a couple of cocktails/mocktails both evenings and lovely peaceful sleep in the tower suite. If you find yourself near Adelaide this is a perfect place to relax. They even have fire pits and marshmallows for roasting. Great spot we just loved our time here.

Mount Lofty House is truly an exceptional place to stay. The property is stunning, with breathtaking views and beautifully maintained surroundings. The rooms are elegant, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were warm, professional, and provided outstanding service throughout our stay. The food was excellent, and every detail made the experience feel luxurious and relaxing. I highly recommend Mount Lofty House for anyone looking for a memorable getaway.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience staying here for the weekend. Every staff member was incredibly friendly and were extremely hospitable and helpful. The rooms were great and the whole venue has such a warm, relaxing and heritage feel to it. There are so many spots to sit by a fire and read a book, or enjoy the great scenery and views. There were so many nice walking trails and the breakfast was great too. We will definitely be back!

The property is beautiful, and filled with great artworks from a local artist, which added to the cozy luxury of all the public rooms.nnWe had two rooms for four of us, one with a valley view and one with a garden view. Both rooms were comfortable and spacious, but the valley view room had a far superior view compared to the view from our garden view one, as that one was half obstructed by a wall, which was mildly disappointing. If you have the option when getting a garden view room, ask for something other than room 9.nnStaff were lovely throughout our stay, and you should go for the house history tour if able, as it was interesting and entertaining.nnThe included breakfast has good options, and was delicious.nnOverall, we had a great experience during our stay, so Mt Lofty House still gets a 5 star rating from me.
