Went to the bistro, food is not great and very expensive, paid $52 for a “Mixed Grill”, the brisket was just pulled beef soaked in so much sauce you can’t taste anything else, the pork ribs were marinated in something that destroyed any meat flavour, the chips were cold and flavourless, my wife’s prawn parmy was also flavourless, my kransky sausage and the piece of bacon and fried egg was ok, but that’s not worth $52. The kids spaghetti bolognaise was good but there chips were also cold and horrible, steer clear for now until they can do better.
We stayed one night at the motel. Room was amazing, clean and spacious. The pub downstairs was also enjoyable, with good food and good specials. Only downside was that everything closed at 9pm a concept me being a Sydneysider was not used to, as pubs close at 3am in Sydney. However overall was a great experience.
Had a large group booked here for dinner Friday night. Could not have been a better night, great staff and service. Meals were massive, tasty and served fast! Thanks Laura you really looked after us!
Great tavern, every time I come here the service from the staff is amazing, Everyone’s so nice and welcoming. 5 stars also to the kitchen the food is always great. Keep up the good work guys!!
Absolutely loved the service from kylie, she was polite new the venue and what was one the menu huge marks for her. Absolutely appalling on price of drinks... paid an absolute eye watering $14 for a jug of lemonade on family night.... could not fault the staff as it was a great dinning experience but for a schooner of new and a jug of lemonade to cost more than. My meals is absolutely appalling.
