From somewhat humble the beginnings, the Caboolture Sports Club has grown to become the region’s premier community club complete with a swag of awards to its name.
The club was founded in February 1994 when six local sporting groups - Softball, Touch Football, Cricket, Dog Obedience, Soccer and Rugby Union - collectively formed a single incorporation and Caboolture Sports Club Inc was born.
The group’s aim was to provide ‘a welcoming, safe and friendly club environment with quality sporting facilities in our shire’, and on December 9, 1997 the six sporting clubs’ dream was realised when the Caboolture Sports Club at Station Road, Morayfield, officially opened its doors to the public.
Throughout its history, the Caboolture Sports Club has experienced rapid growth to both its sporting and general membership base, however, the club continues to be driven by the core values that brought it into existence in the 1990s.
Proud to be a not for profit organisation, Caboolture Sports Club provides assistance back into the local community through its various sponsorship programs. Each year the Club gives more than $1 million in both cash and in kind support to a wide range of local community service groups, sporting clubs, individuals, and charities.
In 2006 the Caboolture Sports Club saved the Caboolture Bowls Club from imminent closure when it purchased the freehold land and club facilities from private owners. Since the purchase Caboolture Sports Club has completed a major refurbishment and the venue now operates as Centenary Lakes Sports Club & Function Centre.
In 2013, the club progressed from an incorporated entity to a company limited by guarantee structure.
In 2017, the Caboolture Sports Club Limited will open it's third venue, North Lakes Sports Club at 36-42 Flinders Parade, North Lakes.
