Was in the area and wanting some noodles. Went to this one because of high rating. The place is basically a takeaway noodle place. It has lots of sauce flavour choice and you can customise your noodles which is great. The lady was a bit scary while the man was very friendly. Ordered char kway teow & a sambal noodle. They gave me free 3 pieces of dumplings which is very nice. And the dumplings are very tasty. Char Kway Teow was sweet but need more zing. Sambal noodle was quite vinegary & sour the lady warned me which wasn’t bad in flavour. What blows me away is that despite it uses the same size containers as other places, there is definitely bigger portion from here. Between me & husband, we could eat them 2 times and more! That’s unheard of from other takeaway places. Also they are generous with meat & veggies, just very balanced with all the ingredients. Overall very happy and will come back.
The best fried rice with just perfect seasoning ! Staff are friendly too. The chief got a professional cooking skill with wok.
A great place is totally a good Chinese restaurant, as an oversea student, I have a good dinning experience in this restaurant, because the food is tasted like the food my mother cooks. People are very very friendly, make me feel at home. I ordered pork and chicken dumplings, but the pork dumplings was selling out, they gave me 2 more chicken dumplings for free! By the way, the chicken dumplings are amazing, I’ll be back!!!
July 2022 Update This shop has recently changed management The menu has changed, the portions have decreased in size, prices have increased, some of the best items from the previous menu have been removed The overall quality of the food has dropped, especially entrees like the prawn toast which used to be plump and fresh, now are thin and very ordinary. The food is passable, and it's probably still better than next door. But its quite sad how quickly this place went downhill after changing hands ** Original 5 Star Review Below from 2021 ** Favourite restaurant in the area, by far. Can get a stir fry with no rice or noodles, massive serving, usually enough for 2 meals. for under $20. Always fresh and always tasty. The best, most flavourful black bean sauce I've found anywhere, their satay skewers are excellent. I've tried this place 5 times, different dish every time. All really good. Staff are super friendly and they chuck in freebies from time to time.
Amazing food and staff The best Chinese in the area. Very apologetic when they are busy but I don’t mind waiting . 20-30 in peak times is nothing to wait. It’s the Best food and definitely lives up to its name. Thank you for the great service My girlfriend and her family love a good authentic Chinese snd tonight’s didn’t disappoint
Best Asian cuisine we've had in many years, all cooked fresh & didn't leave us feeling yuck. Will definitely be back & happily recommend to others!!!
We have been going to a great place for years. The food has always been amazing as has been the service. Just ordered mongolian chicken with flat egg noodles. No chicken, way over cooked vegetables and within 7 minutes of leaving the restaurant the egg noodles had congealed into a solid mass at the bottom of the bowl. Highly highly dissapointing that the new management have decimated what was once a great eating experience.
Hey owner. You need speak to your chef put less msg and salt. way too salty. The dish is actually not bad portion. But way too salty.
First time visit as the ratings were really good. Whilst we ordered on Menulog-the order wasn't received until I had spoken to the lady at the counter. She kept on asking if I was an uber driver collecting. Other than her being a tad stressed, food was good. Ended up staying 10 minutes passed estimate on Menulog to collect. Overall most likely go again. If you do go in just be a tad patient, don't be intimidated by the lady at the counter- as the food is great and fresh.
This is by far the most welcoming, warm shop with amazing food!! The owner is beautifully kind to all of her customers and always works so hard to make the food so well. Me and my partner try to come in every week to get something and there’s always a smile and a hello whenever someone walks through the door. Thank you to you and your family for your amazing food and we’ll always come back! The best takeaway food in the area
