If you’re ever curious what it would taste like to bite into fossilized poultry, may I recommend the KFC in Mooroolbark?nI ordered a three-piece box, expecting—oh, I don’t know—chicken that vaguely resembles food. Instead, I received something that looked and tasted like it had been abandoned during the Cretaceous period. Dry? Absolutely. Burnt? Without question. Old? Let’s just say if this chicken had a passport, it would have stamps from several geological eras. Honestly, it looked like it had been sitting there so long it probably pays rent.nThe pieces were so overcooked and shriveled that I’m not convinced they didn’t come from some prehistoric bird. A pterodactyl would be offended by the comparison, but that’s genuinely what came to mind as I tried to identify what was on my tray.nThis was, hands down, the worst KFC I’ve ever had, and I’ve eaten enough KFC to qualify as a semi-professional. I’ll be adding photos because words simply cannot capture the archaeological tragedy I was served.nIf you’re hungry, go literally anywhere else. If you’re studying ancient artifacts, though—this might be your place.
You need to have more people on especially on a Saturday night. Waiting 10-20 minutes 2 weeks in a row is ridiculous. You had 1 person on the front register trying to serve, make orders and make delivery orders. A man was waiting at the counter for 8 minutes with no acknowledgment at all no hello. Nothing. Before he was served. Get more people on. Such slow service. And no communication with customers. They’re just ignored.
So my grand-baby and I ordered a zinger box, we shared it. It was digusting. The chicken that was meant to be zinger was limp, and mushy on the inside, whilst the outside of the zinger was barely crisp. The fries were also soggy and limp, with barely any seasoning on it. The mash potatoes were not it today. The concoction was barely flavourful, and tasted like wet mud. The service was mediocre, with 2 stars for overall as we got our food quick-ish. Never coming back here again! Anyone who wants a zinger box, go to any other KFC. You would be less disappointed at a McDonald's. Never again.
Avoid this KFC, lost count of how many times I've ordered from drive through only to get home and find part of the meal missing or poor quality food. Last order was a bahn mi, photos shows just how little they care about customer satisfaction.nnMade a complaint via KFC support, no response..
Oh. My. Gosh. Absolutely by far THE WORST KFC I've ever had in my life. The chips were bland and soggy. One piece of chicken wasnt fully cooked while another piece was basically completely burnt. The potato and gravy had stains on it before we even got to the food, it was disgusting. Even my little 3 year old cousin found it gross and she eats just about anything. I unfortunately dont have photos yall but what others have posted is basically it.nnNEVER. AGAIN.nncustomer service was really nice tho
