I’ve been to McDonald's Mooroolbark a number of times and overall it’s an average experience, but there are a few ongoing issues. Unfortunately, without fail, there always seems to be something missing from the order, which can be frustrating. The food is also never really hot, it’s usually just lukewarm, even when you’re asked to wait in the waiting bay or when ordering through Uber.nnMost of the staff are polite and friendly, but there are always a few who seem like they really don’t want to be there, which can impact the overall experience. It’s convenient and does the job, but there’s definitely room for improvement when it comes to consistency, order accuracy, and food temperature.
I reckon they’ve got their A team working today. Didn’t know they had an A team and perhaps it’s a recent occurrence. The staff member taking drive thru orders is always great articulate, polite, cheerful and the McMuffins were SO much better than they’ve ever been ANYWHERE.
Ordered the Big Arch expecting something special, but honestly, it’s just like a Big Mac. You can’t even tell the difference in cheese – it’s paper-thin, and it looks like I only got one slice. Absolutely nothing like the advertisement. On top of that, there were probably 2 micro pieces of fried onions as promised. Definitely not worth the hype.
Sunday lunch time and this place was filthy. I had to ask for something to wipe the tables. They threw serviettes at me. No one cleaned any of them. Pickles on the windows, seats dirty, floors dirty. My free pops didnt come with our coffee, when I went up to remind staff, each looked at me at the counter and not one approached to offer service. I requested help, smiling saying excuse me a number of times. No one came over. I had to really raise my voice EXCUSE me a few times more before someone responded. If these young people are that busy surely mamagement should employ someone just for front of counter/cleaning.
Most consistently shit macca’s ever! Super slow service. Chips are always unsalted and usually undercooked or stale. Frappes are always rubbish from basically no sweetness to way too sweet and only 2/3 or only half full and they don’t grind up the ice nearly enough so you can’t drink them with the straw coz the huge pieces of ice just block the straw! Been there 5 or 6 times and after a bad experience every single time I’m done with the place and gunna drive to another suburb for macca’s from now on!
