All of the food prepared by the owner is cooked with passion and love for his Italian culture. We treat ourselves to his food on our way home to Katoomba and it never fails to disappoint us. Today’s choice was a pizza with pumpkin and baby mozzarella amongst other delicious ingredients and a spaghetti vongole with baby clams. We felt like we were back in Italy. We highly recommend this place- the pizza base in particular is so delicious.

We came for my nieces birthday dinner and it was great. Any time I have been here, I always order between two of the same items, because I love them so much, and this time wasn't any different,except, I tried my sister pizza Filacudi Idland and WOW, it was delicious, so much so, I ordered one to go and had it for breakfast and lunch the following day.
Brilliant family owed and operated restaurant.nDanny makes a good range of fantastic pizzas. Loads of toppings and lovely thin bases. A dessert pizza of Nutella and marshmallows not for everyone, but is really nice kids love it.nPasta dishes are devine with a wide variety of different dishes to choose from.nDecor is great and gives the place an authentic Italian feel.
I absolutely love coming to Monte's after a good bushwalk in the mountains! Danny's brilliant customer service, smiles and the other chef/waitress truly know how to be a formidable team delivering scrumptious food in a relaxing, enjoyable Italian venue. They're incredibly friendly and contribute to an amazing atmosphere that makes you truly feel welcomed.
