Awesome place with a great "feel" to it. A completely graffiti'd kitchen gives you something to read when waiting for the pasta to cook. Nice toys for the kids to play with, including a trampoline. Lovely owners. We forgot a camera in our room and they offered to send it to our next destination. Amazing.

Very nice place.  Right on the ocean. Great play area and toys for children.  Two rest room facilities.  Great showers, hot with a 6 minute timer due to local water conservation.  You can restart the shower.  

The host was very accommodating.  We needed late check in so we could enjoy a birthday dinner with my daughter.

Good place to stay. Cabin was comfortable and close to the toilets. Showers are free. Host was friendly and gave us a whole lot of very useful information, even the tides and sunrise/sunset times. Walking distance to the beach and the Moeraki Boulders (30min), and close to the lighthouse where you can see penguins and seals. Very close to town as well with a shop, petrol station and a few places to eat.

Another wonderful stay. It has to be said this place is now popular - it is no longer secret. So book ahead or prepare to be disappointed. I book a year in advance. Two toilet blocks - one with showers near the main entrance. Great kitchen - see photos. A TV and games room with tourist info inside. Great play area for the kids with trampolines, bikes, balls etc. Plenty of accommodation choices. Wifi available. Onsite laundry. Buckets of herbs spread around the park. Owner/managers warm, friendly, welcoming and engaging. Love their passion. This is situated close to beach - some sites have sea views. There is a canoe/kayak river behind the park. Non powered sites across the road. Nearby there are llamas and sheep, feed the ducks or spy on a pukeko and cheeky rabbits visit the park at dusk. Trains run past at various times, and a quirky cemetary overlooks this site. Photos say more than I.

A great place and friendly staff! Close to shops and beach, but still quiet and plenty of good spots for tents.
