Friendly owners who were helpful when we didn't have the right equipment. Large camping areas and great grassed areas well protected by hedges and trees. Toilet and shower block were passable. Kitchen and living area, on the other hand, was very tired. Kakanui is a nice spot and we will probably drop by again.
