Perfect!  I can't stop staring at the house with admiration.  We had Willie (an ex roofer for 20 years and a red head too) come to the house to quote.  He asked a lot of questions and asked us the most important question... "Do you have any leaks?"  We did.  We had leaking at the chimney and definitely in the garage.  It was evident from our swollen timber floors and mould/watermarks on the ceiling of our garage.  He spent a good 15 minutes pulling out tiles to inspect the leaks further.  He even got us on the roof to have a look at what a compromised roof interior looks like vs. what a healthy roof looks like.  He even showed us the shrinking flashing around the chimney which was covered in mould.  I enjoyed his knowledge and found him to be quite honest.  A spades a spade right?  A good couple of hours of negotiations later, we came to a good price and he offered us a great deal that allowed us to use the interest free finance for a good 3 years.  It was cheaper in the long term instead of redrawing from our mortgage, which was charging us around 4%+ on interest at the time.  Also, turn around time for the job was amazing!!  I was advised 5-6 weeks.  I got 3 weeks turn-around because the weather was great.  Matt, the roofer, was awesome.  I cannot stop being in awe over his workmanship and skills.  This bloke climbed a ladder like a set of stairs.  What most impressed me was his attention to detail.  He even cleaned our garage door and surrounds.  What a top bloke!  Not to mention the fact that on the final day, I went to work and was given a courtesy call 2 hours before completion so that I can head home and sign off on the job.  The job was executed with perfection!  Top marks for Modern.  I'm happy I got what I paid for... ;)

Modern are unprofessional and very expensive. They use high pressure sales tactics and their work is substandard. They do not keep their promises, especially time promises. A one week promise turned into nearly four weeks of grief. Their workmen are untidy and careless in their work, leaving a mess I had to clean up. It took me me three weeks, lots of work and money to clean my pool and get it back to being usable. I am still cleaning up after them. I would not recommend them at all. An unpleasant and expensive experience.

Was reccommened by my neighbour who had her roof done by modern so i Rang and asked to organise a quote for roof restoration was very happy to talk about it until i said that the roof is asbestos (which my neighbours was as well) and he suddenly changed and told me to find another company to service me as they have too much work on. I was in no hurry to have it done and if i could afford it was happy to wait thumbs down to customer service and i will look elsewhere

A little slow to get install done but the product itself is nice.

Will, Trent and the team were most obliging and thoughtful. Our initial appointment was arranged at our convenience.   Modern Group paid extra attention to us as customers with excellent communication and customer service.  Owing to our situation, we were given priority and our roof was fixed within the estimated time frame.  Our roof looks great!   I would recommend this company with no hesitation.
