Not enough staff as i stood around waiting for assistance just to get 2 meters of carpet cut was told someone will be down shortly by the name of calvin and was waiting for 15 mins before i asked if he was coming or not then I was told there is no one on flooring today.. wow so I waited for nothing. Get more staff it's that simple

Went to the store to buy some weedeater refill. Waited in a large queue to be served and when it got to me the girl behind the counter closed up, didn't acknowledge me and just walked off. I couldn't believe it. I had queued for 7 to 10 minutes. The man behind the counter adjacent to her saw what had happened and just told me to join his queue. Bugger that, I threw the weedeater coil over my shoulder and walked out never to shop at the Whangarei M10 again. I drive the extra distance to Bunnings every time now. Poor service every time at M10 Whangarei and I have had enough.

This store has a real problem honoring their 15% price match guarantee. Three times now on requesting the discount their system price has magically matched the Bunnings price, down from the advertised label price, meaning they can avoid the 15%. When pushed on the advertised price, they revert to insisting on phoning Bunnings to 'check', even when the Bunnings website page is being shown to them - and Bunnings of course never answer. Fairly sure now it's deliberate strategy. Never had a problem with Mitre 10s in Auckland.

Went to paint section today for some advice, walked away to feel like an idiot and really pissed off, I work in retail and if this woman doesn't enjoy her job she shouldn't work there, it's Bunnings for me from now on. Lost this customer, and probably more.

Under new management they have got their act together. The staff appear motivated and helpful. Their customer service is great, and I'm sure it comes from the top.
