Consistently excellent coffee. I tend to buy take away lattes and snacks rather than big meals. The raspberry muffins are delicious. The egg and bacon roll from the counter display is amazing. They cook the bacon extra crispy if requested, and they wait to make the coffee until my food is cooked. The roll is my favourite. Staff are attentive and friendly. They are very, very busy but always still take the time to smile. When I've dined in, the service has been terrific. I'm surprised by some of the negative reviews. We think it's the best cafe in the area. Hands down.

Lunch here (Chilli scrambled eggs + Filter coffee) was perfect. White walls and plain wooden tables give this former garage a bright interior and overall nice vibe. Perhaps on the expensive side but that wouldn’t stop me coming back here.

The staff are always so friendly and helpful. I'm so glad to have this pharmacy as my local one where everyone knows my name and makes time to get know me.

I've been coming here for years now. I'm a local and it's just down the road from me. I can tell you this. It's very consistent. The food is very, very good and is priced reasonably compared to others in the inner east. This is absolutely a four star little venue and deserves better than its current rating.

Came here on a Sunday morning, and have been coming here regularly since last year, only to be told that we couldn't get a kids size of pancakes. The kids menu consists of a toasted sandwich and chips and nuggets. Two items only. You might as well not have it. Apparently the reason was that there was a kids menu previously but adults were ordering from it. 

I am sorry, but that's a pretty poor excuse and as soft as it gets. If it's a kids menu it's for kids, not adults. Pretty simple to enforce. Adults only order from the regular menu. Can't help but think that it's just a grab for cash to get another main serve out of the kitchen. 

Not only that, we've been regulars here for a long time and there hasn't been any effort to get to know us. We probably spend $60-70 a weekend here, but we will be spending that elsewhere now. You look after your regular customers, you don't burn them like that and you have flexibility in an area like Camberwell which is populated with families. 

Also worth noting that there were about 60% of the tables not being used on a Sunday morning at 8:30 am. Pretty concerning I'd have thought as the weekend trade should be priority, if you include children in the menu without being greedy in demanding full serves for children, you'd find more people would fill those tables. 

Not only will we stop coming, we will tell other people that we know who have kids to also stop coming and try another new cafe in Surrey Hills, 5 minutes away.
