Five star , fine dining breakfast experience but it’s not cheap. It’s fine for the local, well healed, Camberwellians. I do like places that offer a big breakfast for a reasonable price but they don’t need to. The food is excellent, amazing coconut foam with our breakfast. But really should have had an extra egg and piece of toast. Anyway, don’t mean to be critical. They have expanded since I was there last time, they are doing well. Service is excellent and as you and the local community would expect. Atmosphere is great too since the renovation. Will be awesome in summer to be outside. Recommended for the locals but I’m sure they all know already. Keep it up dish and spoon.
Dish & Spoon in Camberwell is a delightful cafe. The menu shines with inventive dishes like the vegan breakfast and souffle pancakes, paired with excellent coffee. Friendly, attentive staff create a warm vibe, though vegan options are limited. The modern yet cozy space can get noisy, and prices are a tad high for some. Still, the quality ingredients and thoughtful presentation make it a local gem. Perfect for brunch, with great GF and vegan choices.
Lobster roll, Steak sandwich and Mediterranean Scramble - all great choices and unique menu. Chips are perfectly cooked - best! Lovely atmosphere to catch up with friends and family. Staff were friendly and always attentive. Will come back!
We were greeted with a friendly smile and chat. The service was very fantastic, friendly and helpful. The food was great. On the pricier side. The espresso martini was frothy which when I've had that before hasn't been great but this one was amazing. The chocolate mug cake was absolutely delicious but could have used more cream but definitely recommend it
The food here is above average. The XO kingfish is quite special among the market, and we highly recommend trying it. The slow-cooked lamb is also very tender and not tough. The service is extremely fabulous and makes you feel like you’re welcome home, which is why I will definitely come back.
