I tried Mimi's for the first time tonight after hearing great things and it was honestly a let down... the pizza base was quite like cardboard and something I could have made at home with a store bought base and the pasta was cooked well but most of the sauce seemed to be oil. The last three quarters of the dish was swimming in oil. Having spent $50 on a small pizza and single serve pasta, I am a bit disappointed in the quality of the food. I understand a certain percentage is lost when being delivered but for a local favourite this was quite average.
Really lovely interior, kitsch coziness and modern Italian dining. Customer service is great and the staff are lovely. However the food can be underwhelming for the price. Good for families.
Very over priced for the quality you receive. Pizza base was pretty much cardboard and was far too dry. Pasta was so over seasoned that it almost was inedible. First and last time. Personally think they must be going through chef issues due to the pandemic.
Can’t go wrong, always hot and fresh. Fair pricing for the area
Pasta raw with tasteless sauce. Arancini rice cooked to mush with minimal fillings. Amatriciana Parma ok but salad mainly cabbage. Not worth trying again
What a lovely hidden treasure. Great menu, extremely attentive and friendly staff - an excellent combination.
We dined early on a Saturday evening, what with families and children it got a little loud for us. But the food is still good.
Great restaurant & great food. Supported these guys weekly during COVID and only ever had one meal we were not happy with. The manager was too busy to speak with us and never returned our call. We love supporting small business and it would be nice if they in turn support their customers and their feedback. Disappointing guys, as a long standing customer I expected more. You have gone from a five to a two in my opinion. One phone call & I wouldn't have felt the need to write this review.
Fantastic food in a nice environment. It's terrific to have a restaurant like this with such a broad range of choices on the menu. I will definitely be returning Food: 5/5
Friendly service and great flavours. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area next.
