Service was great, food was awesome and breathtaking. My parents enjoyed it so much! Only thing is, they gave us quite a small table for 4 people and we had a difficult time fitting all the food on the table. Definitely will come back soon.nnPersonally, I enjoyed the scallops and blue fin toro the most. My parents praised their pippies the entire night!
Had such a good time at Mimi’s. The service is outstanding - all our wait staff of which there were many were very friendly and knowledgeable.nOf course the views and atmosphere were beautiful - high end coastal chic for want of a better description.nA heads up though - go during the day or early evening when the sun is still up as at night you don’t get the beautiful ocean views a bit too dark to see anything.nThe food was sublime - for starters the duck, blue fin and zucchini tartlet were rhetorical standouts. As were the potato dumplings for entree.nThe mains of the cod and pork belly were divine but maybe a bit too much for two people so our waitress kindly told us to get a half serve of the cod which ended up being perfect.nThe banana soufflé for dessert was perfection around a 15 min wait for this and I’ll dream of that dish for a while.nI’m sure everyone is aware of this but Mimi’s is expensive. But for a special occasion or if work is paying, this restaurant is highly recommended
Finally got to Mimi’s! Had a great girlie night out & absolutely loved the whole experience. The ambience & decor was stunning, & wow what an amazing meal! Seriously how can something as simple bread taste this good & that was just the start. Incredible freshly shucked oysters, crudo di tonno tuna was wow. The marrow risotto was the best I’ve ever had. The cod delicious paired with the charred snap peas & mushroom. We couldn’t resist the lobster pasta & I’ve craved it every day since being there. We were too full for dessert but managed a few bites. The lemon meringue & soufflé were lovely but the soft serve with extra virgin olive oil was the stand out for me. Definitely coming back, can’t wait! Oh did I mention the service? Outstanding!!
We recently dined here to celebrate my mum’s 60th birthday and had a great experience. Our favourite dish was the Blue fin toro - which was an entree. It was sooo buttery and melted in your mouth. After our meal, they served a small muffin with a lit candle for our mum, which was a lovely touch. They also had an open kitchen which was fun to see! Definitely on the more expensive side, but well worth it for both the food and service. Thank you to all of the friendly wait staff for such a great night! Would love to come back again during the day! 5/5
We visited Mimi's last week during our trip to Sydney and it was such an awesome experience! We were warmly welcomed and got seated earlier than our booking. The host lady was super nice and explained us different options of menu and suggested some tasty cocktails.nnWe went for 2 ppl set menu and added oysters & some caviar with vodka. Food was beautiful! The one absolutely blew my mind was the raw beef with rye crisp. Amazing flavour, crunchiness, just nothing to fault. The Caviar pie was another highlight. Rich but not overwhelming with the sauce to balance it out made me wanting more. Dessert was great as well, soft serve with evo, chocolate tart, finished our meal off at a high.nnSpecial shout out to Jordyn - she's such a gem, super observant and made our experience so pleasant and personal. Amazing service, nice atmosphere yummy food. We will be back!
