Such a welcoming and friendly place, they always find you a table and it’s right beside the beach. Eclectic menu not a word I usually use but it’s apt here with a slight Asian slant. Good wines, although there’s no such thing as an inexpensive bottle anywhere these days. Small but interesting dessert list and good coffee to finish.
It's a bit of an odd one this visit. The last time we visited Barzura last year I believe, I remember I really enjoyed the porridge, but this time I can't really say the same. I didn't like the caramelized banana at all on top which changed the flavour of the oats. The pancakes I had the next morning were nice but I believe there needs to be more honey or maple syrup to soak in the pancakes. The pear was nice on top. Will def visit again to test these out again. Hopefully j enjoy it more next time
What an amazing atmosphere for a dinner with views of the ocean! We stumbled upon this place when our first choice was fully booked--were we pleasantly surprised!nnThe food here is a delightful combination of Aussie-inspired flavors and Asian fusion. It truly exceeded our expectations.nnThis place is perfect for a well-deserved rest after completing the Bondi to Coogee walk. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!nnMust try the steam date pudding with vanilla bean ice cream for dessert.
Suprisingly, nasi goreng & mie goreng are very authentic and delicious. Try its egg benedict, the hollandaise sauce is consistently good. The black mussels pot is also a hidden gem. I can finish it by myself.
Nice spot on the beach for brekky! Can get busy on the weekends but service was relatively quick and friendly. Food was good also.
