This charming Italian-style restaurant offers a delectable selection of dishes that are not only delicious but also incredibly nutritious. The attention to detail in the preparation and presentation of each dish is evident, making every meal an experience to remember.nnThe staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring that your dining experience is nothing short of exceptional. Whether you need recommendations on the menu or have special dietary requirements, they will go above and beyond to cater to your needs.nnPlease note that there will be an additional surcharge on Sundays, which is still worth it for the quality of food and service you will receive. The portions are generous, and they even offer a package deal degustation for groups.nnLocated just a stone's throw away from the beach, this restaurant offers a serene and relaxing atmosphere. Plus, the convenience of having a private restroom on the property adds to the overall comfort of the dining experience.
4.3/5*nn-To start, the chargrilled octopus was cooked perfectly, boiled first to give it a nice soft, tender texture. It was marinated and cooked with Nduja honey, served on a bed of potato purée and topped off with fresh oregano. The light char on the octopus went perfect with the creaminess of the purée.nn-The zucchini flowers were filled with pecorino, honey and mint. They were fried well with a crispy texture. The filling was creamy and light, not too sweet, not too minty, perfect.nn-The black opal 7+ marbled wagyu flank steak was cooked to a perfect rare, as ordered. It was fatty but firm in texture, with a brown crust which could have been further darkened and crusted. It was served on a smoked carrot puree which added a nice sweet touch. It was topped with chimichurri, which added a nice fresh component and subtle hit of spice.nn-The eggplant parmigiana had a rich tomatoey taste which complimented the sweet eggplant well. It was topped with fresh basil and intertwined with crispy breadcrumbs. Topped with Parmesan, it had a nice addition of aged cheesiness.nn-On the side, the leafy greens with garlic were a perfect side, a slight bitterness with a strong hit of garlic, perfect with a mouthful of steak.nnOverall, it was a delicious display of food from Louie, with great service and atmosphere, the only small issue was the crust on the steak, which could be improved. Thanks Louie.
Lovely restaurant with a great atmosphere. All of the dishes on the menu looked tempting and the dishes we ordered were flavourful. To top it off, the service was excellent.
Second visit in a week. Louie does it again. Intimate experience... Mercedes, our previous server, remembers our names. Got a lovely table ideal for our 2yo boy. Executed with perfection on our dinner: agnolotti and seafood crudo. Sardinian wine, excellent complement. Credit to the folks in the kitchen, kudos to the service staff.
Amazing food and seamless service. We were already talking about a re-visit midway through our meal. I regretted not taking enough photos of the dishes we ordered and have only the first and last dish to show. Besides the fresh rock oysters with generous serving of finger lime, special chilli and vinaigrette, desserts tiramisu and salted caramel gelato, there is the Sicilian crudo, chargrilled octopus, pappardelle with wagyu brisket, whole roasted flounder and salt and vinegar brussel sprouts. All cooked to perfection and accompanied by refreshing lychee mojito cocktail. This is a wonderful lunch which we will remember for a long time.
