Deliciously toasted bagels with great fillings. Only negative was the price to pay for one. Wasn’t entirely filling so we had to chase it up with a slice of basque burnt cheesecake which was equally as amazing in taste and texture. Love the location too but would like more sitting/standing areas especially when there is a large crowd during peak times
Naturally, when I see a bagel shop I abruptly pull over. I did double check the reviews and after many claiming this is “the best bagel in Melbourne” I was convinced that I had to try it out. These bagels miss the mark by a long shot. I am genuinely shocked that this is what Aussies consider a good bagel. My oh my, you are missing out. First of all, it was very dry. Seemed like many days old or just poorly made, not sure which is worse. What I really can’t get past is that this bagel was overwhelmingly sweet and it was sesame! Bagels should not be sweet. At all. So wrong. Another massive disappointment on my search for a decent, authentic bagel in Australia. Adding a star because the cream cheese was A+

Enjoy the best bagels in Melbourne and they make ‘em quick. The chicken salad in an “everything bagel” was perfect but you could eat these bagels with nothing on them. Crunchy outer and gorgeous soft and chewy inside. Perfect and all served with a smile.
Bagels are hard and dry like stones, cheese and ham are cold like ice and salty like seawater. I don't know why this place is a famous bagel shop. Costco Bagel is more moist and delicious.
I do like the smell you get from fresh bread out of a wood fired oven. Immediately recognisable, which is nice because the wood fired bagels is a selling point yet the production is hidden by the minimalist plain toned facade that you walk into. Not cheap, but I can justify that knowing the effort that must got into wood fired bagels. For takeaway, that’s put together in about 5minutes the quality of the fillings is exceptional. The chicken was excellent, I can’t imagine it being any softer. The BBQ sauce in the description almost turned me away but it was light and not overpowering at all- I’d be surprised it they didn’t make it fresh in house. A meal that slightly turns me around on the functionality of bagels as something other than toast.
The service was great, the lovely guy that served us talked through what they have on the menu. We ordered #12, one of the best bagels we ever had. The bagel is good and the fillings itself was quite generous and full of other ingredients that compliments eachother. Would definately recommend, and will be coming back for more!!
Ok its a bagel, it was ok. The bagel was small and a bit tough, way too much cream cheese, however the pastrami was awesome. Need a better selection of bagels as 3 is poor maybe a cheese, and the selection of fillings is ok but could have a bit more selection and be more imaginative. For $15 I feel a bit ripped off. If I was just talking about the meat it would be awesome but the size and density of bagel was a let down. However the service was awesome and the girls very friendly.
Probably the best bagel place I’ve been too!! The bagels were so good and filling and full of great ingredients that go amazingly together.
Every menu was super good. Wish to visit again. I always wanted to eat this bagel while I was in Mel.
