had my car there for brakes and found out my old mechanic had just put pads in and didnt replace/machine my rotors. and they took me in to the workshop to show me. glad i found a mechanic that is trustworthy

Have to agree with most of the other posts. Lots of unnecessary items "completed" for my partners son. I took the invoice to a proper mechanic who services high end vehicles (for less than midas ipswich) and he explained the total cost should have been maximum of $500 not $900. Talk about taking advantage of the kid's good nature and ignorance in motoring. Shame shame shame. I think we'll be raising this with the Midas Franchise Head office.

Got quoted $700+, for new rotors and pads and a brake flush. Knowing i could get the rotors machined and it did not need a flush, got a another quote from a reputable outlet (for what was really needed) for less then $300.
