I have to say I was hesitant given some pretty average reviews of here but I am absolutely positive about my stay, and I'll be back.nStayed in the spa suite and the spa is huge. When it stopped working, Simone from the front desk didn't give in until she could offer a room swap or timeline for repairs. We swapped rooms and the second room was just as nice as the first. The inclusions in the room of nespresso machine and pods was a nice touch. The bed was huge and comfy.nPlenty of space to stretch out in the generous sized suite. Aircon was quite effective.nAs for the lift, I loved its stylish genuine aged reality. It felt like a step back in time to get a ride in. It is, after all, heritage listed.nWe stayed during a pretty solid storm and unfortunately the hot water petered out at night, BUT a staff member got out of bed and came to resolve it in the middle of a storm! and it was working by morning.nPerhaps most astonishing is the soundproofing and light blocking in the room. Despite it storming outside we slept peacefully, not disturbed by the weather.nThe location is close to perfect. I could have eaten from any of 6 different cuisines within a less than 5 minute walk.nParking spaces were a little haphazard and the carpark did get a bit flooded but it was a very big storm.nTo top our stay off, after we left they called us to let us know we'd left an expensive pair of headphones behind. Thankfully we could easily turn around and I truly appreciate their honesty.nI will be back.
What a great spot, central to town walking distance to clubs and pubs and shops, cafe's and restaurants. The room was lovely, heaps of room and the bed was massive and im very tall and my feet didn't get to the end. Could have definitely stayed another night so would definitely recommend for those staying extra nights. Would stay there again for sure.
Good location, large sized rooms but the hotel is very dated. Needs significant refurbishment but this is reflected in the price of the room. Also no complimentary breakfast for elite accor members or accor plus dining discounts for accor plus members.
nStayed at Mercure Hotel Mildura and unfortunately it was a pretty disappointing experience overall.nnThe property feels quite aged and is in need of a proper refresh. Our two-bedroom apartment had a couch that was badly damaged and honestly unpleasant to sit on, which really let the room down.nnSleep quality was also an issue—the air conditioning unit in the master bedroom was extremely loud and kept waking us throughout the night. On top of that, there was a hammer in the pipes, meaning we had to keep a tap running just to avoid a loud screeching noise.nnThere’s potential here given the location, but it really needs attention and maintenance to meet expectations.
Lovely hotel close to almost everything. Looks like a converted apartment block and is old functional. Plenty of space and a kitchen in the room for a family of 4.
