Excellent cabins, clean, comfortable beds, well equipped. We had a one night stay on our road trip. It ticked all the boxes, we arrive late and left early! It was a welcome stop! Communication was excellent. Booking was easy.
Lovely grassy spacious park right on the river! Very reasonably priced and pet friendly. 2 beautiful pools which were well maintained and clean modern amenities. Showers had screen doors which kept your towels/clothes dry! We had planned to stay for 3 nights at a non powered site on the river but stayed for 5! Great base to explore the area. Would recommend and would return.
The check in was easy, staff were friendly. The park and amenities were immaculate! The laundry was clean and easy to use. We stayed in a superior cabin, it was so clean and modern. The shower was amazing! There are plenty of bbq’s to use and are also clean! There are 2 pools, that looked well kept! The park was quiet and in a great location! Would definitely stay again, river view cabin next time.
Just stayed there for a week. What a disappointment. Paid for a powered site for the van on the river front . Scappy and dirty. Other sites in this area the same.nWater pressure average. The rideon lawnmower comes thru to cut up leaves and kick all the wet earth around.nnNo heating or cooling in camp kitchens.nSaying this the kitchen facilties were good. Eg fridge.bbq and ovennnThe wash down hose at the dump point leaks like a seive and sprays u.nnTo top it off. We were promised an 8.00 per night reduction by the lady who booked us in weeks prior. Upon arrival flately denied by the male park manager. I asked to speak with her and was denied.nSo do yourself a favour check out other places around town and down the road.nnNot related to the park. But the hoons doing burnouts everynight on the other side of the river too wee hrs ecohed thruout so sleep was limited.nnWhat we saw of other sites on the park looked greener and better maintained. In hignsight we should have taken a site a lot further back from the river on a better site.
We loved our three nights on the riverside camp site number 87 top site number.nPark was clean and tidy.nnFacilitiesnPools both looked invitingnBathroomsnAll looked clean and well maintained.nCamp kitchen very clean ad well equipped.nnLaundrynOnly takes credit cards.nWashers goodnDryer $5 for 32 mins.nOnly a small washing line on building that only gets some morning sun, there is loads of room behind the laundry, be good if they added a few more lines.nEspecially when the inevitable they have is so close to sites, when we stayed a very heavy smoker was camped adjacent to the building, the smoke entered the bathroom, laundry and washing line. Many people using that facility made comments to each other. maybe discovery can make those closer sote smoke free sitesnnWide internal roads allowing easy access to camping spots.nStaff were lovely and accommodating.n.nThis is out of the parks control, yet I feel if you want river front you need to know. We might be more sensitive as we come from a rural township that is very quite at night.nIs the noise from the hotted up cars doing laps along the Murray all nightnWednesday nught 6pm to 1.45amnThursday night 7pm to 2amnFriday night 4pm until after 4am..nApparently this is a common nightly occurrence.
