Melbourne Business School has been progressing knowledge, individuals and organisations since 1955.

Story

Melbourne Business School pioneered the development and delivery of the MBA and executive education in Australia. Our roots trace back to 1955 when the University of Melbourne's Summer School of Business Administration was established to deliver Australia's first residential executive education program. Australia's first internationally recognised MBA program followed in 1963. Our culture of entrepreneurialism and innovation continues today, across our range of degree and executive education programs, world-leading research and high quality teaching as the graduate business school for the University of Melbourne, Australia's highest ranked university.

Transferring from a UK MBA to the MBS MBA it’s not worth the $100k! 1. Lecturers focus on delivering their own research and have too much ownership on syllabus and marking. There’s no consistency across subjects to the extent one lecturer changed answers on a midterm based on which answers had the most responses. 2.The entry requirements aren’t high which i believe is driven by the school wanting greater tuition fees. They’re favouring volume over quality. 3. No consistency for prior learning credit and remote participation with students getting treated differently. There’s a reason why this schools rankings are dropping.
Nice facilities. Spent 6 days here. There was a problem with the wifi access for us and it never worked and was never resolved which was disappointing. Surprised that there was no eduroam access. Also note that in some areas eg lecture theaters mobile reception is very poor.
Melbourne Business School on Leicester St is more high-class compared to the one in the spot building. Although this building is only have lectures for MBA and Executives level, if you wear formal clothes and have professional working manner, it is still ok to have a formal meeting there as well
Third class business school. Better to invest time and money and energy some where else.
