Fantastic experience, was looked after very well and professionally. Everything went smoothly, surgery was a great success and now for the first time in years I can tie my own fishing knots.
Dr Ehud is a brilliant ophthalmologist and surgeon . He helped me with a terrible infection that I had in my eye that plagued me for 12 months and recently performed cataract surgery . His skills as a surgeon are outstanding and his ability to communicate with his patients are also impressive. I would highly recommend him to anyone who has eye issues.
After several years and half a dozen doctors, my eyes were simply getting worse. Sore, red and weeping. I expressed my concern to the admin team when making my appointment and they even contacted me with several options for earlier appointments. After my first appointment and following the doctor’s advice and treatment I had dramatic improvement immediately. After a month I could barely detect the issue. I no longer feel tired and my eyes are better than they have been in a decade. Very very happy.
Dr Zamir is a class act and an excellent opthalmologist.
We can not recommend Dr Zamir and the Mckinnon eye clinic enough. My elderly mother has a range of conditions including, glaucoma, cataracts and the emergence of Image result for macular degeneration and her previous ophthalmologist was unable to ever offer an effective treatment path. Dr Zamir turned this around, resolving the cataract issue and seemingly with it, her glaucoma. Also, the macular degeneration is now being prudently managed through regular treatments. Thank you to Dr Zamir and his friendly team. You renewed my mother zest for life and we are indelibly grateful.
I didn't have a great experience at this clinic. It was Dr Ehud I was visiting. I have Uveitis in my left eye. When I visited Mckinnon eye clinic, the doctor didn't diagnose it from beginning and got me started on the steroids drop. It didn't really help and after 4th visit, over 2 month, when I said that I was still in pain with severe light sensitivity and blurry vision, he just said that he can't tell the reason. He asked me to discontinue the drops which I did and within 24 hours my situation was worsening. To the point that I couldn't get out of the dark room, even the slightest light was causing unbearable pain. I then went to East St kilda eye clinic where the doctor diagnosed me with Uvietis and he provided the best care. I felt like I was asked to come in for multiple appointments at McKinnon just so that they could make money out of my appointments. Also, my husband wasn't allowed to enter the consulting room or the waiting area. Given the severity of my situation, I wanted him to attend the appointment with me, however the family members were requested to wait outside of the clinic.
Dr Zamir diagnosed a problem in my eye which had not been diagnosed in any examination previously. This affected and complicated the procedure for eye surgery which I needed. Dr Zamir explained the problem and the options really clearly, and with a sense of humour. He carried out the surgery with utmost diligence and skill, and as a result my vision is restored. In fact, it is now better than it was before. I would highly recommend Dr Zamir.
If I could have rated it higher I would have! Having just arrived in Melbourne from interstate for the Christmas period, I had a tender, photosensitive, red eye. I asked a local pharmacist for some anti-bacterial drops, but he suggested I see an ophthamologist, asap, instead. I'm thinking this may be a blessing in disguise! Having had a history of uveitis, Dr Ehud Zamir quickly established that I indeed had uveitis again and started me on treatment. Not only that, but after YEARS of having been treated, THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THAT A LINK WAS MADE WITH SOME OTHER LONG STANDING AILMENTS, including rheumatic pains in the feet and joints, for which I was about to see a podiatrist. Not only that, but the office staff Keren, Nicole & Sharyn were AbSoLuTeLy FaNtAsTiC! Apart from being courteous and helpful, which I would expect, they went over and above to see that I was tended to urgently that day, going so far as to reschedule my appointment to ensure I was safe to drive to another appointment after having my pupils dialated. And they even got me out of a tight spot by guiding me out of the carpark!! Thank you so much to each and every one of you at McKinnon Eye Clinic .. I just wish you would all relocate to Brisbane for me! ; Regards Irene Bollerman
Dr Zamir has been looking after me since over a decade...I have had a condition that needed right guidance and i knew I was in good hands.Dr.Zamir is warm and is approachable besides being an extremely dependable and trustworthy Doctor.
Dr. Ehud solved my eye problem the very first time. I had yellowish eyes with yellow substance which was growing and had watery eyes all day long which also made my vision blurry. I am now cured of that. I highly recommend his services. If you have an eye problem, look no further.
