Best fillet of fish takeaway from Maccers I had almost after 10 years of trying it the last time. When I enquired employee Ashton promised me it would be a different experience this time and it was. Warm bun, crispy crumbed fish fillet not processed fish to my surprise, slice of Old-English cheese and just the right amount of tartare sauce. Thank you.
Talk about cost cutting. Cafe area stripped bare, staff short or underutilized & toilets without toilet paper not even an empty roll. Customers then were ignored and told they needed to get the staff's attention. If you want to save costs maybe cut back on the chocolate syrup in the ice chocolate. 50/50 is a little too much chocolateFood: 2/5
Just ordered 4 large Angus meals. 2 6 nugget happy meals and a double cheeseburger meal. Cost us just off $100. Which is average. But all of the Angus burgers were absolutely horrible. Tastes like a quarter pounder patty. One tiny piece of tomato. Not enough sauce. Just absolutely disgraceful. Considering they cost us $48 alone for those four meals. I will not recommend buying them from the top of the range MacDonald's. The ones from main street MacDonald's. Or the MacDonald's over near Clifford gardens not the one in the centre. They have all given us fantastic Angus burgers.
I was served by this lovely girl named Magenta and she had outstanding manners, and overall she was sweet. I appreciated this as generally I don't get many staff who are nice to me. Customer service was good. Will definetly be coming back.
Had a very disappointing experience here yesterday. We ordered a single frappe - the machine didn't give us a receipt. We waited at the pickup for 15 minutes before making a complaint that it was taking too long. We were advised it would be made immediately. Another 10 minutes went by. We were at the point of walking out. When we were finally given our order there was no apology or offer of refund. On top of that there were no lights on in either male or female restrooms.
The McDonald’s on Margaret Street in the CBD is the worst McDonald’s I have ever been to… The toilets were filthy and the sitting felt grungy! My wife hated the lack of cleanliness and helpful service. Certainly not up to McDonald’s standard by a long, long way. Interestingly my two sons loved the big playground but would rather have drive through next time. We left and went to the Herries Street McDonald’s which is new, clean and the staff were very helpful.
Terrible customer experience, large coffee handed through the windows of the car, employee was not holding it properly and the lid was not on. The coffee spilled all over the centre console and the passengers, burning us and causing the car to smell for a long time. Chips are always cold and coffee is never any good.
Staff seem to be trying their best - perhaps 3 people at 7:30am during xmas period isn’t enough. Barely a clean table in the place, floors look like they haven’t been cleaned properly in months, ‘dine in’ served in takeaway cups etc. Better than the one on Margaret Street is though.
Felt bad for ordering 5 meals but the food I got was cold and soggy. They tried to give me the wrong size drink insisting that it was the right size and tried to skip the happy meal claiming I never ordered it. Management is also incredibly unprofessional. Better training is required for management
Drive thru's used to greet you and thank you for coming before asking you what you would like.. Now all you get "Hi, what can I get you". I suppose it's not the worst greeting, but it certainly isn't a welcoming one. Food is what you'd expect - still Maccas and still reliable.. Would be nice if the burgers were wrapped properly and hash browns were placed on top of the burgers, not under them all. Other than that.. Will still come back cause as I said, they're reliable and the food is generally cooked right
