Cafe Valetta is one of Toowoomba’s well known heritage icons.

The restaurant provides seating inside the beautiful heritage surroundings or outside in the manicured gardens, on the veranda or pergola overlooking Queens Park.

We had a most enjoyable morning tea at Cafe Valetta. The ambience, the friendly service, the surroundings, the delicious home made baked cheese cake and coffee made for a pleasant experience after visiting the Queens Park Botanical Gardens.

Great location near Queens Park. Nice atmosphere and the staff are quite pleasant. A reasonable menu. We enjoyed the omelette for brunch and pumpkin pie for afters! The mocha was smooth. All round pleasant experience. Will no doubt return when next at Queen’s Park
The cafe sits opposite the Queens Park and Botanical Gardens in Toowoomba, nestled inside a converted Victorian home. Stained windows, wide open sitting spaces and music spread between the 40’s and 50’s provide a unique experience.nnThe coffee is Elevate by Veneziano, one of the best beans in Australia at the moment. Poured fantastically in a cup appropriately sized with personalised chocolate art. The buttermilk pancakes were delicious, sized brilliantly and not over done. Watching other customers meals come from the kitchen and bar indicates that they have put a lot of thought into portion size, not attempting to flood the customer with food, but provide a culinarily experience without the overeating.nnMost certainly a must stop for breakfast when in Toowoomba.
