Staff never looked at me or said anything, they just called out my number. I said thank you but no one acknowledged.nnCoffee was super bitter, this can happen when you leave the beans or coffee grind out to long.nI tried to force myself to drink it but I couldn't as it was far too bitter. When I asked for a refund the girl wearing the black shirt yelled at me, spoke over the top of me and told me it was my fault the coffee was bitter, she threw my receipt in the bin. Another very polite girl gave me a refund but under paid me.
A big shout out of excellence and dedication to their job. Those who are on duty tonight I don’t know their names, we ordered via drive thru, fries without salt due to my sons allergy and indeed the best fries ever!!!!! We’ve been to different Maccas some are rude and laughing at our “odd” order but these staff are serious with their job, even the female manager approached us and gave our orders. Loving Maccas Yeppoon!!!!
25/03/2025. Extremely poor service from the manager a woman: no smile, no hello, no « sorry we forgot an item in your order ». I understand that you are not working in a 5 stars hotel, but it’s basic common sense to be respectful and welcoming in hospitality. Also, sauces like tomato sauce should be free.
My first visit to a Australian McDonalds and I can safely say that the UK ones are better. Had to wait for one of the items to come out and then I had to ask where it was as they had forgotten it. The manager was polite enough and there is no reason to kick up a stink about it as it’s fast food not Michelin starred.
I went through the drive through because I wanted a bee mine craft toy but was told they couldn’t get from stock so I ordered 5 happy meal toys. I went home expecting a variety bc that’s what is advertised. When I realised it was all the same toy which was a block of stone I was not happy I went back to McDonald’s and nicely told the lady at the window that I wanted a refund as I didn’t want five of the same things which is completely understandable I was told to go through to the last window and this rude manager who thinks he owns McDonalds was basically yelling at us saying he couldn’t give us a refund bc “what you get is what you get” complete disrespect. We were obligated for refund simply bc there were multiple of the same ones when advertised as a variety!.
