Big props to the Ararat Maccas crew for handling the absolute ambush from the two Melbourne Mustangs U21 Junior Showcase teams, the Chargers and Colts, on our way over to Adelaide.nnA flood of hungry ice hockey fellas is never an easy ask, but the staff handled it with class, professionalism and a great attitude from start to finish.nnFor a lot of the team, it’s fair to say you’ve put Ararat on the “Ara-Map” this morning. Thanks for looking after us, and we’ll definitely remember the stop next time we’re passing through.nnPs. The Pajamas were a nice touch, glad to see the staff keeping comfy.
Very busy so I do feel for them, but they looked as if they had never handled a busy lunch before. Food was fine once we got the right order. Did wait a very long time for it. Coke was very watery. Longest we have ever waited at a fast food joint but as noted, it was a busy time.
Interesting store. Drive thru staff had a nice catch-up with the car in front. Staff had no sense of urgency or awareness. Coffee was ordinary and my grandson's stomach decided half an hour later that the cheeseburger had no place there. Avoid.
All I wanted was a coffee and I get coffee grounds.nWas passing through Ararat on my long drive and wanted an extra hot latte. Take my first sip a few kms out of town and all I get is a mouth full of dirt.
One time a couple of years ago I bought frozen cokes, but they charged me 2 instead of the 1 they were at the time. They told me after the price had gone up despite there being a big sign still up saying they were $. They refused to give me a refund or do anything to solve the fact they sold me somthing at twice the advertised price. They told me if I didnt move they would call the police. I calmly said that was fine as they cant be selling stuff at twice the advertised price. The polife came and also said they saw the sign but as a civil mater they couldn't do anything so I left still having the drink at twice the price and no resolve. Was veru poor service on Mecca's behalf.nnOn another occasion though the service was much more pleasant and the staff member chatted away to me
