For a budget option the ensuite unit we had was very good. We enjoyed our one night stay very much. It was lovely and quiet and we all slept well. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Feels like a country park, but is close to town. Super friendly reception on arrival and they take dogs this time of yearnNzmca friendly discount, good value. We visit again l.
Nice campsite. Well managed. Friendly and helpful staff. Short walk to town centre. Pity it’s so close to the main road that seems to be popular with boy racers. Not the fault of the site, but detracted from our experience.
We stay here because of the location. It is convenient for us. However, since staying afew times we have noticed the standard is declining. We always get a powered site, they are ok. Only one side has lighting which makes it tricky and the bathrooms need maintenance and a really good clean.nFor the price it's quite expensive. Other Wairarapa campgrounds are alot higher standard but not so convenient.nGood thing is we can have our dog there.
Great dump station. Location was wonderful for us - 5 min walk to supermarket, walk to gardens, along river tracks etc. We looked at facilities but decided not to use them as they weren't clean. Grounds extremely untidy and not maintained. Cost us $48 for a powered site and we have definitely stayed at better during our six week adventure around the North Island.
