I have been travelling to Masterton to work for two years and this has been my GOTO motel. It's cheap and cheerful. NEXT LEVEL clean and tidy. This is my home away from home. Centrally located so convenient to EVERYTHING. Possibly the best Motel in Masterton.
Great location! We stayed there last night. Top notch for cleanliness. Pool was well maintained. Room was neat and clean. Most importantly Manager was such an amazing person. He politely welcomed us on arrival. Bed was extremely comfortable. Highly recommended.
Very average. No frills accommodation.nRoom was tiny. Shower also not made for larger people. Had everything but a kitchen sink. Had to fill the kettle from the bathroom hand basinnParking in front of the room was tight.nThe only positive was the friendly staff and located walking distance from shops and eatery.
We enjoyed our stay, the young man at reception was very friendly, and our room was comfortable, and kept clean by friendly staff each day. There was also Netflix. However the weather was very hot, with only a plug in fan instead of air conditioning. The motel is in need of ongoing maintenance. The gardens are overgrown, and we noticed the rear units near the pool are used possibly for emergency housing.nThe pool is kept clean each day, and we enjoyed daily aftenoon swimming in the hot weather.
For the price, Amble Inn was fab. Rooms are spacious and ours was immaculate. Ours didn't have aircon but it had 2 great fans and plenty of opening windows for cross breeze. Quiet but central plus a pool. Lovely host at reception.
