I was trying to sell my house a few month back and met Mitch from the Brisbane office via a mutual friend. Initially I didn’t know much about him apart from the fact he was a pretty straight forward and upfront guy. With in 3 days of not even signing an exclusive contract yet, he found me a buyer that was offering way above my expectation (admittedly the real estate app's estimate were way off). I made the mistake of believing another agent who swore that she could get me a better price and presented a phony contract (which later on the buyer came back $200K lower then the original offer claiming he didnt do his back ground check when he made the offer). I went back to Mitch for help and he was never upset with me for a minute. Unfortunately by now, we had lost the initial buyer. It took another 2 weeks to find the 2nd buyer. By this stage, I didn’t have to do much as I can just forward any quiery to Mitch and he would just handle it and translated “real estate” language and jargon into someone I can get my head around. Despite quiet a few clauses attached to this contract in terms of making good the place (which I wouldn’t have had to deal with in the first contract), I simply handed Mitch the keys to the place and he took care of everything, even going in with me on a Sunday to change smoke alarms and lightbulbs. I cant thank him enough for the peace of mind he gave me as I was going through several other major business decisions at the same time and was positively exhausted. The bottom line is I know Real Estate agents don't generally have a great reputation, and I've been burnt a few times (not just this time). Therefore, it means more to those that are also time poor like myself to have someone you can trust to handle the whole thing for you. I am happy to personally vouch to this guy and I generally don't endorse anyone at all.
