We were on holiday in New Plymouth and wanted a great fish dinner. This place did not deliver. The fish tasted old, not rotten, but not fresh. When we shared our concern, the server, he took the fish for the chef to taste, who in turn said it was fine. Buyer BEWARE! We eat fish several times per week and know what excellent fish (Snapper in this case) tastes like. Also, asked for another glass of wine when the fish was served. It never arrived. On payment, the manager/owner was abrupt and almost rude. It was our problem, not his. What a waste of $85 for two fish dinners and 2 glasses of wine. I understand that a piece of fish might not be perfect, but denial in a place the advertises as a quality seafood restaurant is just plain wrong.

My fav little unique restaurant. It had a dated decor, but that actually makes it quite cool. Food is always fresh and tasty- never had a disappointing dish. Really friendly service that's a rare find. I'll keep coming back

This is a great little restaurant which serves good quality fresh food nice atmosphere highly recomended.
