I felt like treating myself to a steak meal for lunch so headed here and found a cosey nook for solo dining. The almond and tahini salad was something else, I was really impressed. I loved the cheesy crushed potatoes and the steak was cooked perfectly and had lovely flavour. The staff were lovely also, I'd like to return and try some more of their yummy sounding sides and sauces.
Absolutly loved the home feel atmosphere. The Tiramisu and sticky date pudding were delish. Did enjoy the seafood platter. The king prawns and crispy squid were quite bland. Tad dissapointed as this is the most expensive item on the menu and was Most probably frozen and not fresh. Definitely would come back. Thank yous
Super friendly staff. Huge restaurant was so surprised it was all one. My partner got the lamb burger and liked it but just thinks it needs a bit less pesto. Good size burgers!nI got the chicken burger it was yum but for me it was a bit too saucy. But we still enjoyed them.nIt was super busy and popular. Will definitely be back when we come back to New Plymouth
