Amazing baked goods, literally perfect coffee. Every time I get a long black here, it's perfect. No small effort here, this is an awesome cafe. 10/10

We were looking for a bakery for coffee and breakfast on a Sunday morning and stumbled upon this delightful bakery right in the central business district of New Plymouth. Most of the bakeries close to downtown were not even open. My omelet with mushrooms and brie was delicious. I liked it so much that I also bought a ham and cheese crossant which tasted very good also.

Only putting one star bc you have to. Used to be a great cafe with fantastic coffee/cakes. Has changed ownership & service/quality has gone downhill poorly. Recent visit had insect in the coffee & when asked to get a fresh one made counter staff rolled their eyes, there was not even an attempt to apologise or show any empathy. Customers after us were elderly & again counter staff rolled their eyes & sighed bc they were taking a little while to make a decision on their food. Won’t last long in business with that attitude

Nice coffee and great bread and proper pastries. Service can be slow as food is freshly prepared, but it's worth the wait.
