The chicken burger with chips was the absolute ugliest tasting burger I’ve ever tasted. I went there with a friend of mine and ordered the burger. The chicken inside the burger was white, like absolutely wine or was like the colour of vanilla icecream. Not only that but the chicken was very chewy and rubbery to the point I couldn’t eat the burger because of how rubbery it was. I ended up eating only half the burger and eating the chips instead. The bread on the burger wasn’t that nice either but the chicken was honestly the worst chicken I’ve ever tasted. I saw another review saying how bad the chicken burger was. I tasted one of the last as a couple months ago and I really enjoyed it so I was excited to come then I realised I shouldn’t have came.the chicken tasted like it was really old and made me sick for the rest of the night. I felt absolutely felt sick for the night and had to go home early because I felt so sick.  I’d also like to add that there was absolutely no seasoning in the chicken so I had to add an extreme amount of salt and pepper to give it a little bit of seasoning . It was absolutely bland. For anyone wanting to go I advise you not to get the burger.

I have been here 2 times. Overall the food is good and dessert. We had the share dessert platter for 2 and it was absolutely delicious, well presented and plentiful. The burger and pasta dish was also pretty good and served hot however the crispy chicken could be improved. The mega breakfast was also done well. I initially did not order coffee but the crisp earthy smell of the coffee beans was so fresh that I also ended up with a flat white full of flavour. The 2 mature ladies behind the counter were friendly and hardworking and when they do table service is prompt. Overall a nice place to catch a bite.

I've been coming to Mr Pancakes/pancakes plus since I was in primary school (I'm now 28).

I'm so happy that the pancake recipe hasn't changed it's still delicious.

Improvements that need to be made: the pikelet size is tiny! I know pikelets are meant to be small but it's a lot smaller than what is use to me. I think the size needs to increase slightly. Also, the amount of jam and cream was very very minimal. The best thing about going to Mr pancakes was not only the delicious pancakes but because of the generous serving of jam and cream that came with the pikelets. Please bring this back.

Love their Dukkah Eggs and the their waffles are so fluffy. Definitely coming back.
