Situated in one of the most beautiful areas in Canberra, within leafy Barton, the café is surrounded by the Realm Precinct Park with ample area for those wanting to sit and absorb the northern sun.

I recently visited Maple and Clove Cafe in Barton, and I had an amazing experience! The food and coffee were absolutely delicious, and the smoothie and freshly squeezed juice were incredibly refreshing. Every dish was bursting with flavor, and the coffee was expertly brewed—just what I needed to start my day.nnWhat truly made the experience memorable, though, was the staff. The baristas and all the staffs are very friendly, and had smiling faces, creating such a welcoming atmosphere. It’s clear they take pride in both their food and service. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a great meal, coffee, or a refreshing drink in a welcoming environment!
Always a fantastic place for brunch or lunch. The food is delicious, the seating is comfortably spaced out and not crowded, and the staff are efficient and friendly. Highly recommended for a catch up with friends or family and a lovely meal. The crab omelette is an essential!
Brunch was lovely here. Good food good options and spacious ! I had the sweet potato hash brown egg dish and it was so filling and delicious! Coffee was pretty good toonI recommend. My other said their food was pretty good too, especially the blue swimmer crab rice dish.
Really lovely first experience there today. We turned up mid-morning on a Saturday without a booking, which was a little rash, but staff were unflappable and found us a seat very quickly. We couldn't be outdoors but were happy in the beautiful indoor space which was bustly and full but not loud or uncomfortable.nnWe tried the blue swimmer crab omelette which was AMAZING and an absolutely enormous serving we split it between 2 and added some sourdough toast which was a lovely addition. Also excellent coffee - we splurged on the ice coffee with ice cream which was like a decadent dessert. Would definitely return!
We ate breakfast here today to celebrate Father’s Day.nThe meals were delicious & a generous serve. Coffee was hot. Service friendlyn& efficient.nCoffee’s a little slow coming but given that it was a very busy day, not a real problem.nLook forward to dining here again.
