We had a perfect check in experience, greeted by Christina with bubbles on arrival. Our room, the grounds, hotel facilities and amenities were perfect. Unfortunately this hotel is let down by bar service, ie bar and wait staff. Whilst the drinks and food were fantastic, I can’t give it 5 stars because there was an alarming lack of efficiency, knowledge and ownership by the bar/wait staff. It must be a training issue. I hope it improves because otherwise we had a wonderful time.

What a beautiful place to spend an afternoon.
The High Tea was supurb.   Our table was set beautifully, and, what a bonus to enjoy the high tea in the library.  From our finger sandwiches, to the warm selection of food,  and followed by scones, jam and cream and then the wonderful selection of cakes, chocolate coated strawberries and macarons. 
Special mention to our waiters Jared and Veronica for their knowledge and service, not forgetting the kitchen staff.    Just lovely and thank you all.

AMAZING ... HIGHLY RECOMMEND! 

Have stayed at The Mansion on a couple of occasions and as always, delighted by the service and beauty of this place. This particular stay exceeded our expectations as there was an issue with accessing a facility and the staff handled it in a way that was professional, friendly and delightful. Service like this is what makes us want to keep coming back! The pool is a must.

Could not recommend highly enough. A++

This is place that should be more well-known. We have stayed in city hotels but never had the beautiful garden surroundings that can be walked after each meal. The restaurant is brilliant and the staff are very attentive and caring to guests. A luxury hotel that really needs to be experienced. Highly recommended as a way to “slow down” and really relax.

(Mid-Dec Update) I'm shocked, I honestly had very little faith that something would get finally sorted out in regards to a refund or any compensation for not being able to stay at the Werribee Mansion. I am pleasantly surprised that Renee and team have chased and chased and in the end chosen to given me a refund directly. 

This comes at a cost to them but they also value and understand the price of good customer service. Well done to the team, I am looking forward to it coming through just before Christmas and now hoping they do get refunded by whoever has held on to the money (still a mystery). 

Nice to know some places still value the customer over the $. 

(Dec Update) Still no refund. Yet the hotel has apologised and has informed me they are actively chasing it from the company who held on to my money. 

(Nov Update) Unfortunately I have to change my review as I have been played around chasing money from the hotel. I cancelled with plenty of notice and a medical certificate showcasing why I couldn't stay. They denied the refund and blamed the middle man, extremely disappointing. 

A welcoming facility with great bar and nice wedding reception facilities. Friendly faces and great staff who made it very accommodating.
