Nice authentic Madras style dishes. Madras fish curry was very good. Sambar rice is also good. Chapathis were very fluffy and yum. All in all a pretty good restaurant. Just a tad pricey though.

Our family is a regular customer of Rassam from past 1 year. I know Div and Siv personally.Tonight we came to have dinner with family but unfortunately all the tables were occupied so we had to wait. But the friendly staff gave us the menu before so that we can look for the dishes without wasting time. As per told by the staff that they are running little busy because they were short by one staff. We ordered our food and I must tell you the food was worth to wait. Love this place.

Busy shift for all staff must say....but great food. We went around 8pm and it was full.  We placed our order as quick as possible as we were super hungry . The wait staff was apologetic for  delay saying kitchen was busy. It was understandable as probably 90% of people were walk ins. We waited for our entrees almost for 45 min but it was great. Amazing flavours. The thali was awesome too.  Just a tip for owner chefs and wait staff for next time  If you feel its getting out of control try to space orders out .  Overall excellent food and great service

Overpriced under rates South Indian thali. The appams is priced at 6 dollars and does taste like an appam. Overall pretty bad. The buttermilk with the thali was the only good thing. Even the rice was undercooked. Very bad. I must mention the place is over priced for average food.

This place is not worth even 1 star. You cannot write comments if I don't select any star, that is the only reason I gave 1 star. This is the only hotel I have come across that does not have steamed rice ready to serve. Thali had dosa in it and it came after we finished our lunch. Omelet we ordered came half way into the lunch. Food quantity is pathetic. Food tastes average. It is a very expensive hotel when you consider quantity and quality We will never come back to the restaurant.

I think we came with high expectations but it's a clearly NO NO NEVER !!!! Please avoid if possible... even incase of desperation pls avoid...  We are a Veg family so obviously our order was Veg so can't comment about Non Veg Food .  Chef loves salt in his personal food so everything is super salty.  Everything coming on table was stale, seems to be cooked overnight as freshness is gone....  Sorry guys .. this is NO WHERE close to being Taste of Madras... Seems our friend has never been to India :....

This is probably the worst restaurant I have been. It is a hot day and the air conditioning is not on - we had to request the staff to turn it on - it didn’t make any difference cuz the AC doesn’t work . The staff is quite clueless - half the menu is not available. The food took about 40-45 mins to come out, we ordered Thali I’m not sure what took them so long - they said that it is their special for the day . The chicken 65 was not a chicken 65- I’m sure ppl in madras will agree with me. This restaurant is a disgrace to Madras. The thali is charged at $18 and they give you 2 small pieces of chicken in the curry, the rest of the thali is also utter rubbish. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I even requested to speak with the chef to give them a feedback- the staff said the chef can’t come out!

This is simply the worst restaurant i have been to. Non veg thali was awful, and the kal dosai served with non veg thali was pathetic. It was very hard, hailing from chennai and having tested kal dosai, i can assure you that this was the worst ever. I also orderd the porotta, i bet they use frozen porotta, and its not made at the restaurant. I am perplexed by the quality of chef, who deemed that this food was good enough to be served. In short, this is officially the  worst food i have eaten.

You can’t go wrong with the Indian food especially the South Indian cuisine. Every bite that you take from this place reminds you of your days back from India. If you haven’t tasted the food here yet I highly recommend to try this restaurant. You’ll definitely love it.

Hi people, Please dont ever step in to this place. I understand that running an restaurant is hard but these guys doesn't have a clue. I ordered for take away on Saturday evening, firstly no goat curry at all in the restaurant.  Most of the items are not available from the menu. My take away was with 4 pieces of chicken 65 in a small box. The chicken curry was with 2 pieces of chicken and total bullsh** service. 50$ went in drain. Never ever
