I've always thought of Huntly as a place you drive through fast or bypass altogether but Manor Views have changed my mind. Wonderful place to stay, only wish I could have stayed longer. So elegant yet homely. safe and Quiet, best nights sleep I've had in a while. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. No restaurant but that was not a problem as kitchenettes in rooms and got a Roast Meal in township and enjoyed it on the patio while watching the sun go down. Views are amazing. With only a 25 minute drive along expressway to Hamilton, it is definitely where we will base ourselves in future. Rooms: Large, clean, comfortable and warm with everything you need supplied. Safety: In a safe area of town and Hotel very secure with Hosts on site Food & drinks: No on site restaurant but kitchenettes in rooms for do it yourself breakfast and plenty of dining or takeaway places in town. Brought a roast meal back to eat on patio while watching the sun set. Noteworthy details: Clean, very very clean Hotel. Views, Quiet, Easy to find. Fantastic renovation from Maternity Hospital to Hotel. Relaxing.
If you're looking for a slice of heartland New Zealand, this is one place you need to put on your list. A beautiful historic building set in the heart of the Waikato. Wonderful service, great rates and beautiful rooms.Rooms: 5/5
We’ve stayed in a few of the different rooms and always enjoy our stay. The spa rooms are great and the views from these are really amazing. The grounds are well kept and the service is friendly. We usually make the short trip into Hamilton to explore the shops and playgrounds and then head back to Manor Views to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The sunsets from the gazebo are worth waiting around for. The perfect spot for dinner. Nearby activities: There are some really great hikes and biking trails into Hamilton. Noteworthy details: Try get a room with an indoor spa bath.
Beautiful old almost 100 year old building. Gorgeous setting up on the hill, so lovely views. Exceptionally quiet. Only drawback for me was the very firm bed, as my personal preference is for a softer one.Rooms: 4/5
Always a great stay here. We've stayed here several times as a rest stop and have been in several of the different room setups. Great place to stay, plenty of parking, awesome hosts. Just make sure you read the instructions for the TV before you start pushing buttons!Rooms: 4/5
I booked Honeymoon suite for my daughter Gorgeous 4 poster bed , Amazing twin Spa bath in a gorgeous bathroom. BEAUTIFUL property throughout & BEAUTIFUL Family Owners. As a very picky Motherzilla with a laid back daughter I'm super impressed
