I had to spend 10 days in Palmy and Dannevirke to attend a gyrocopter get together, I booked into the Arrow Lodge, for the night. After talking to the owners, I also booked my last night there , as I had to drive back from down south. On my arrival in Auckland, I was late getting through customs and picking up the rental car, so meant I was late going south. With the road layout change, I got a bit misplaced, so I had to ring the Lodge to get directions a couple of times. The owners told me they would wait up for me to arrive, and they did, which was great. The room was great, very very clean, bed was comfy. I am planning to return next year to NZ, so I will stay there again. Thanks for everything. Darrell Jones.

Very accommodating staff, lovely unit, clean and comfortable. Close to town. No road noise, can hear occasional train, but does not disturb....I had my windows open. Steep driveway at entrance from road, straight, my little car easily drove it.

Good price, very clean and modern. Really lovely owners, friendly and extra obliging.

Some rooms renovated, others to follow I'm told. Good cheap option. Lovely hosts!

The owners of this motel are absolutely amazing. We stayed there on the 29th Jan 2017 and were greeted with a very warm welcome as soon as we turned up. There was 7 of us and we were given the choice of our sleeping arrangements. When we left they came and said goodbye to us and thanked us for staying. They were very accomodating & friendly and based on that I would definitely stay again.
