I love mamma mia food, its tasty and is always made fresh. This restaurant has been around for 50 years ! And the owners are such lovely people, the father who has been running this place is a funny man who just loves to sit and talk to you, and his wife is a beautiful Nonna who still cooks in the kitchen making her food out of love . There son who makes the pizza is a wonderful man who loves to see all his customer coming in and he remember each and every customer ongoing orders. I see Matt Preston coming in with his family too It is really sad when I see people put up nasty reviews!! , the food at Mamma Mia has been getting made the same way for 50 years, the pizza dough still gets made everyday day and the topping are the traditional styles from when they first came to Melbourne It's lovely that Melbourne now we have such a wonderful Choice of food , but just because some new restaurants opens up down the road doesn't mean that you have to forget all about the restaurants who actually migrated here 50 years ago and made Melbourne known for its amazing food. I say don't forget about Mamma mia and all of our amazing restaurants that started at 50 + years ago that gave us a taste of international eating. Congratulations Mamma mia on your 50 years of operation🎉

Lasagne poor quality and not fresh. Coffee scalding hot and tasted burnt. Would not recommend at all

It is very hard to beat a family business where the fresh produce and respect for it stand out. I feel like I am being cooked for and dined at home. The warmth makes you return , often.
