Mamak Corner

I came to this restaurant a couple of times. The food is authentic, even though I am not a Malaysian. Curry chicken was well seasoned and vey tender. I would definitely come here again. However, if you are looking for something fancy or good service, you won’t be able to find it here. This restaurant is not well ventilated and quite small as well. It is a 5/5 food wise. Tea was great!

Had their Nasi Lemak with Curry Chicken not really good but not that bad either. Curry sauce was way too little and too bland without the actual curry flavour, moreover the potato was totally tasteless just a normal poached potato not really cooked together with the currys’. Would give another try on the rest of the dishes in the future but certainly not the curry’s again.

I loved that this was a family-run shop of three that appeared to be the mother, father and son. I was lucky to have gotten in on a cold rainy day for a seat a bit after 6pm before it was consistently packed to the door. Standard counter-service ordering at the window before seating. I ordered both the laksa to dine-in and Hainanese chicken for take-away, both came out relatively quick considering the crowd in front of me. My laksa was a healthier take lighter on the coconut milk with lots of veggies. What caught my eye were the numerous plates of char kwey teow ordered from other patrons that came out piping hot in generous portions - definitely something to try on the next visit.

Very authentic Malaysian cuisine. Our meals were Satay Mei Goering noodles chicken, Nasi Lemak chicken curry, spring rolls. Excellent meal

Always come for my fix of seafood mamak Mee Goreng. Dishes here are authentic and well priced. Never have to wait too long for your meal to arrive.Food: 5/5

Delicious tasting food and it always helps to keep an eye on what other people are having if youre not a regular. So if you know like Roti bread these guys offer dipping sauces with bread deals, and I will certainly try this next time. Only issue was my friends meal came out well after I had started eating. Curry puffs were very nice too. Good value. Vegetarian options: Lots of food can have no meat options but egg not so much.

Always delicious. Cheap and cheerful. Roti with sauces for a great tasty snack. Also do a good laksa.

Last time I was here was about 5 years ago, this place is known as a cheap authentic Malaysian eatery so I was looking forward to returning one of my favourite Adelaide spots. The maggi goreng has a nice little spicy kick to it. Get it with the chicken as oppose to the prawns. The ayum goreng is boneless... it’s ok but nothing like what you get at Mamaks in Sydney or Melbourne. Minimum $15 for EFTPOS. Would also be nice if the restaurant provided water.

Taste good with reasonable prices

Had lunch today. Truly Malaysian flavors. All components of Nasi Campur were perfect crunchy Ican Billis fresh toasted peanuts superb sambal fluffy rice and 3 tasty curries. Also Roti A1 with curry sauces. Will be returning soon !
