Nice vibe, tasty food and great service. Cocktails are not cheap but the atmosphere makes up for it. Ask for a mezzanine booth upstairs if you prefer a quieter experience.
tl;dr.: Heaving, happening place w/ ok food but better drinks Perhaps I'm very old, but I'm definitely one of those people that felt that this place was much too loud c.f. if you think the music's too loud, you're too old for a conversation. Around me there were younger people eating before a night out, while others were on dates. We had initially picked the place because of an interesting Basque cheese selection, not realising that the menu changes so often, while not a bad thing, when we were there the menu had reverted to boring, stereotypical "Spanish" tapas, and what was served was ok at best. The drinks were not bad, and that was the saving grace. While the service was very good & friendly, it was also quite slow, and they'd forgotten to put one of our orders through, but made up for it by a round of free drinks. It was probably a combination of staff shortage post COVID and a huge crowd following the Wallabies Springboks game, and the staff were run off their feet, so it's understandable. Vegetarian options: More than one option, and not bad choices
Amazing tapas, reasonable price, perfect portions, balanced flavor - just go
The atmosphere, the music and certainly the dishes tapas in the best Spanish style make this place a small escape from the Spanish streets. Good selection of wines.
Great tapas and drinks menu. Update a year later they still do excellent snacks.
Do it. Don't be intimidated by the setting, it's beyond well priced. The food will take you places. KI gin suits the shrooms and lamb. The cheesecake does taste like cheese, this is a good thing. Think about it.Food: 5/5
The atmosphere is great, enjoying some drinks and playing boardgames. Plates for share were so small portions considering the price of menus. But I would love to go get some drinks again because of nice service and vibes.
We've been wanting to come to Udaberri for a long time! Finally made it. We cannot complain about anything really. All the food was delicious, and the drinks were fantastic. . Bread and butter: great tasting butter. . Crispy pigs ears: such crunchy goodness! . Stuffed baby squid: sooooo good . . Sauteed portobello mushroom with fried enoki, espellete, and egg yolk: sooooo fantastic!! Amazing . . Roasted pumpkin with cauliflower: really great dish. . Buttermilk fried deep sea cod: super tender fish! . Mussels and chorizo: wow the sauce was sooooo amazing! Loved used the bread to dip the sauce haha. . Porcini paté: super tasty! . Crispy pork belly: the crackling was great, the pork was tender, and the sauce was amazing. . Rum baba with sourdough ice cream: the rum was super strong, but it worked well. . Basque cheesecake: very good and creamy, but not as good as the torta de queso from San Sebastian .
Gorgeous little wine bar. Food was delicious and they were very accommodating of food intolerances!Food: 5/5
Amazing gin cocktails. Tapas menu was slightly smaller due to covid but dishes were tasty, well priced with great variety. Love the hot weather in Adelaide
