Delightful dinner with the girls, the environment was satisfactory and the service was excellent. Bella ticked all my boxes; as a revert to Islam, she was so respectful and made sure everything was done with care, even checked on my mid meal to ensure everything was to standard, she is such a sweet and kind lady.nWill definitely be coming here again :
I’ve had the roast pork at Mac’s Hotel before and it was beautiful — great flavour, decent slices of pork, proper crackling, fresh chips and gravy that tied it all together perfectly. But this time was the complete opposite.nnI went on 28 November 2025 and ordered the roast of the day again, which was pork, and it was a real disappointment for $29. The portion size was okay, but the quality wasn’t. I got three very thin slices of pork with no crackling at all — which is supposed to be the best part of any roast pork. The meal wasn’t hot, it tasted microwaved, and it was already going cold when it arrived.nnThe chips were overcooked, most of them stuck together, and the whole meal was bland. Honestly, I would’ve been better off going to Coles, grabbing their roast pork and some chips — it would’ve been cheaper and 100% better.nnMy partner ordered the lasagna, and that was just as disappointing. It was completely tasteless, mostly just a heap of dry mince with barely any cheese and only one sheet of pasta. Why even call it lasagna if it’s basically dry mince with a single pasta sheet and hardly any cheese?nnI don’t know if they had a different cook on the night, or if there were too many people and they just couldn’t be bothered serving proper fresh food — but whatever the reason, it really showed.
Lovely Sunday dinner. Wonderful meals, impressed with the senior meals! Service was great and atmosphere.
Delicious food. Had the Barramundi burger on the summer specials menu. Was really good. Could have done with a lil extra sauce on the side, but otherwise the patty itself was perfect. Beautifully crumbed and cooked perfectly. Children had a ball of a time at the play area. Ducking in and out for their meals.nStaff are very kind and a smile on their face despite being a busy Arvo. Special shout out to Dorris and the bar tender, manning their respective counters, so busy!
Kory provided excellent service at the pub — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from the moment we arrived. He went above and beyond by helping me out with a lemon tea when I had a sore throat, which I really appreciated. Drinks and service were prompt, he checked in regularly, and nothing was too much trouble. Great customer service like that really makes a difference and helped make the whole experience enjoyable. Would happily come back again!
