Had lunch last Wednesday with a friend at the club. I have to say my chicken & prawn risotto was piping hot, very yummy & fulfilling, friend had the parma & was happy also. Place is clean & definitely worth a visit.
Visited a couple of weeks ago. The little bistro needs some loving. Our Parmi's were very ordinary and dry. Kind of feels like you are in a retirement home.
Hadn't realised this was an RSL club until we walked in the entrance and had to use our licences to register.nIt was very busy and quite noisy as they have events happening on Monday and Thursdays.nThe staff member who dealt with us was great.nWe chose from the seniors menu and were very happy with the meals. Pricing was better than other establishments.
Went to enquire about function rooms on the weekend for an 18th birthday. The lady was very friendly and helpful, and we were happy to finally find a place for our function that we are happy with. However, the next day, we received a call from the function manager stating that they do not do 18th birthdays full stop. We spent around 30 minutes there getting a tour, booking in the date, getting things organised along with waiting for other customers to be served, just to be told a day later they do not allow 18th birthdays, when we were very clear we were booking it for an 18th birthday and were told that was okay. We were mislead and our time was significantly wasted. If someone does not know what they are talking about, they shouldn’t be the one in charge of helping us.
Perfect hidden gem for a weekday bite. Monday night steak special was a great deal + the food was great, steak cooked perfectly & portions sizes were good. Service was super friendly, will definitely be back with a few extra friends!
