WOW - I took my mum for a Devonshire tea while she was visiting from Perth and it was FABULOUS. Service was excellent and the scones were fresh, straight from the oven.. The little chocolate and macaroon delights just topped off a perfect morning tea. The decor is stunning and perfect for high tea. I will definitely be back again! I highly recommend a walk in during the week when they don't have too many bookings.

I would love to share my experience, however my booking for Australia Day was cancelled. I booked and was accepted on the 15th, and deposit paid on the 18th, so I was looking forward to coming here for my anniversary. However today, 2 days before Australia day, I get a call while at work to contact them which. I do at 5 when I finish work, and am told (rudely and without any apologetic sincerity) that they are closed and asked would I like to change days or get a refund. Firstly, I understand closing for Australia day, it's a public holiday and their staff deserve their days off and it's more expensive to cover the day. Yet I'm appalled that a business can be so careless as to when they confirm and happily take the $65 deposit for a booking that can't happen due to planned, annual closing. Just to rub salt in the wound, I come home to an email from the front of house manager stating the booking is canceled due to "unforeseen maintenance". The only reason this review isn't 1 star is due to the sorry tone of the email and the offer to make a booking at the Windsor and pay the $4 difference in the prices on my behalf. However I declined as I don't wish to end up paying more for a lesser dining experience.

The food was nice, but the general service was not fantastic. Items were dropped/broken around us. Rather than telling us we had run out of champagne for our friends hens we were ignored for over an hour. Once we were FINALLY advised we were told with a fake smile and an eye role despite being in a group of 21 ladies. The location was chosen as multiple ladies were obviously pre/post pregnancy. In saying this I'm sure the experience would be different in a smaller intermit group....I personally would never go there again.

What a terrific place! We had our Christmas doo here and had the most perfect experience. The place is gorgeous, the food is devine and made with such love, and the staff all have such spunk and character! We also had tarot readings which topped off our day! Can’t wait to visit again :)
